How to delete recent transaction history after removing card in apple pay wallet on iOS 18.1.1?

Before upgrading iOS, you could just remove the card from your wallet and the recent transaction history would refresh from scratch when the card is re-added. For some reason, the recent transaction history still shows after the card is removed and added back with this new iOS update. How do I clear recent transaction history from a particular card in my Apple wallet?

If the card is on another device, it might be synced, via iCloud, to all devices the card has been added to Wallet app. Transaction data normally expires after 10 days or so. Some banks show transactions for longer periods than 10 days.
