Memories in photos

Oops-- I think that "Create" button may be an Apple Intelligence thing, so that's not available on an iPhone 13.

Create a memory

You can create your own memory from an event, a specific day in your library, or an album.

1. Go to the Photos app on your iPhone.
2. Tap an existing collection or album, then tap Movie to watch the photos and videos as a memory.
3. To create a memory from scratch, create a photo album, then follow the steps above to watch it as a memory.

If you have any iPhone 16 model, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max, you can use Apple Intelligence to create a memory movie. Describe the story you want to see, and Apple Intelligence finds the best photos and videos, crafts a storyline, and sets it to music. See Create a memory movie.

What do you see? I have a section called Memories >, with Create on the right side. The default location is between the Pinned and Trips locations. If you don't see Memories there, it could have been moved using Customize & Recorder at the bottom of the Main Window. Customize provides a menu like this:

Here you see the default order, but unchecking a section removes it, and dragging changes the order.

What do you see that's different?
