AirPods Pro 2 connecting-disconnecting from Vision Pro all the time

There was a similar complaint here but the person was in a car and the response was that the problem was the tether. In my case, I am at home, so that does not apply. I read online that it could be because other devices nearby were claiming the airpods back, so I disconnected Bluetooth on my cell and my laptop in the other room was closed on sleep. I am running the latest (not beta) OS on AVP and not sure which firmware is on the airpods, but it should be the latest as it works for hearing aid. Need new advice on how to fix it so I can sit in bed next to my wife and watch a movie without waking her up with the leak audio from the AVP. Thanks

try resetting the airpods, here are the instructions (How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support)

  1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, close the lid, and wait 30 seconds.
  2. On an iPhone or iPad that's paired with your AirPods, go to Settings > Bluetooth:
    • If your AirPods appear in the My Devices list, tap the More Info button next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.
    • If your AirPods don't appear in the list, continue to the next step.

3. Open the lid of your charging case.

4. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then white. You can now reconnect your AirPods.

if this didn't work, try contacting Apple Support instead. hope this helps! :)
