Messages not showing a reply box for one text thread…

I have one text group that doesn’t show a box for replies on my iPad (iOS 18.1.1). This message group works fine on my iPhone and MacBook Air, My other contacts and groups do not have issues. I have tried closing the app, Turing off my iPad, renaming the group, deleting it, etc… Does anyone have ideas for a remedy? Thanks in advance!
