Cannot revert Macintosh HD icon to original

This is hardly an earth-shattering issue, but a continually vexing one that I would like to solve. I just purchased a new M4 Mac Mini and restored everything from a recent Time Machine backup - all went well. I saw the new Mac Mini icon in my Finder window and would like that to be the preferred icon for the Macintosh HD which appears on the desktop, but I CANNOT remove or alter the Star Trek-related icon I changed it to previously. I have tried booting into Safe Mode, using various recommended Terminal commands, attempting to delete the existing icon file and simply replacing it with the new Mac Mini one - but nothing seems to work. I am running OS Sequoia 15.1.1 Suggestions?

Typically if you highlight the drive icon in the Get Info pane—Command Z seems to restore the default.
