Nord Pass issues with Safari and Chrome on MacBook Air

I bought 2 years of Nord Pass in 5/2023. I use 2 browsers on my MacBook Air, mostly Safari, and sometime Chrome. I have been struggling with this password keeper all this time, I downloaded all of th'e previous passwords on my Safari since I bought the computer in 2021, in CSV form, and added them to the Nord Pass App. I also use the Nord Pass Extension, maybe that's my problem, asking Nord Pass to do 'double duty'?

On the Safari Autofill Settings I have everything Unchecked. Could that be the problem?

I am so frustrated, I am things about deleting Nord Pass, and just using the Safari and Chrome password keepers. How would I transfer all the passwords I've created in the last year and a half over to Safari & Chrome before I delete it? Or, in your opinion should I keep Nord Pass?

Thank you.

Thanks for the tip! Apple has a password manager??? Or do you mean Safari's password manager?

I am about to DUMP Nord. It's my fault, I didn't realize the Nord Password keeper was not operating in TANDEM with Safari. Anyway….

I almost always use Safari (Chrome only when necessary, and when I go to Chrome, it always wants me to put in the Password & User ID 🤬

About 4 months ago, I made a CSV file of the Safari Passwords… at Nords behest. Then I loaded all of those passwords into Nord.

At this point, if I drop /delete Nord, and only want to use Safari…. will I lose any passwords that Nord has created in these past few months???

Thanks! Linda

Refer to the link I provided.

If the passwords only exist in Nord, you would lose the record of them if you delete Nord. You would still be able to use them if you knew what they were. And, you could also use the "Forgot Password" option that most sites offer.
