Apple Mail Confused After OS Update

Following the update to Sequoia 15.1.1, Apple Mail is confused.

#1 When I click on New Message, nothing happens. I have to click on it a number of times before it opens a window that then includes New Message tabs for all of those clicks.

#2 When I click on a message in my Inbox, nothing happens; the message isn't brought up in a separate window as it used to do.

#3 In order to get Mail to open it, anyway, I have to right-click on it, select Open and/or Reply and/or Reply All and/or Forward a number of times before it opens a window that then includes Open and/or Reply and/or Reply All and/or Forward tabs for all of those selects.

#4 When I'm editing a message, then tab over to another application, and then tab back to Mail, it returns me to my Inbox, not to the message I'm editing. In order to go back to that message, I have to select Window and then the message from the bottom section of the options list.

Yes, I found these workarounds, but they slow me down considerably.

When can we expect this to be fixed, Apple?
