It is down to the Egyptian government, banks and merchants to accept it and support it.

Apple has no say in the matter.

Ask your bank or card issuer if they have any plans to support Apple Pay.

It is working partially. I added my card two hors ago. Currently is for Meeza prepaid cards for NBE & CIB & Banqe Misr
