After Update to iOS 18.1.1 on iPhone 14 Pro Max have seaching issue

“I followed the recommendation from The Littles. When I went to Settings - Search, both options noted in recommendation were selected. I deselected both and restarted my phone. After I restarted, I went to Settings-Search and selected Recent Searches & Related Content. The search function appears to be working now.“

Troubleshooting iPhone Search Issues After an Update:

A. Change the Search Settings:

Limit which apps and get search results and how so.

1. Go to: Settings
2. Tap: Search
3. Enable: Show Recent Searches
4. Enable: Shore Related Content

B. Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.
