It used to be possible to copy photos from the camera roll and paste them in an album. Is there another way to do this in iOS? If you have a lot of albums it’s hard to move photos now.

You can long press on a photo thumbnail from your library and "add to album." Or, on an open photo tap the three dots in the upper right to do the same. Or, select multiple photo thumbnails and then the share arrow to add to album.
