While storage space is a primary factor limiting screen recording duration on iPhones, several other elements can also cause interruptions. These include:

  • Battery Level: Insufficient battery power can prematurely halt recordings.
  • Recording Content: The nature of the content being recorded, such as live streams or resource-intensive apps, may impact recording length.
  • Third-Party App Restrictions: Certain third-party apps may impose limitations on recording duration.
  • Background Activity: Other apps running in the background can compete for resources and affect recording stability.
  • iOS Version and Device Model: Older iOS versions or specific iPhone models may have limitations or bugs that can disrupt screen recordings.
  • Network Connectivity: If you're recording content that requires an internet connection, unstable or slow networks can lead to interruptions.
  • Heat Dissipation: Excessive heat generated by the iPhone, especially during long recording sessions, can trigger thermal throttling, which may impact performance and potentially cause the recording to stop.

By being aware of these factors, you can optimize your screen recording experience and minimize disruptions.
