How to remove Safari from "Now Playing"

I listen to music via Apple Music, which adds itself to the "Now Playing" control center menu and responds to the Play/Pause keyboard button. All good.

Now I open Teams in Safari. Teams makes Safari insert a new item to the "Now Playing" control center menu. Now when I press the Play/Pause keyboard button, Safari receives the event instead of Apple Music.

The outcome is a double failure: Apple Music continues the playback, and Safari Teams starts playing the "calling you" sound, even though no-one is calling me. The whole thing just feels broken and feels like a bug in macOS.

How can I stop Safari from ever inserting stuff into the "Now Playing" control center menu?
