iPhone 16 pro was on mag safe charger and showed charging. This morning there is no charge and won’t even charge on a cord. Ph
Have had phone a month, been almost dead a couple times but this is the first time it won’t charge even with a cord

The closest Apple Genius var is a 1.5hour drive into Atlanta. Two Best buys are options but they are botha hour drive away in different directions. Apple support online steps were useless. After trying for 2 hours to get the phone to start charging using 2 different kniwn good cables and power sources, i took it to ATT. For sone reason when they plugged it in it started to charge above 1%. At 8 % i took it back and it is niw charging well using the same cables and piwer sources that didnt work this morning. They saud to avoid mag safe chargers and that they were bad on batteries. I dont really believe that, i believe Apple has a software or hardware glitch which prevents the phone from charging. So the crisis is over today but i dont have a solution ir reliable workaround. Maybe i will try the short flimsy cord Apple supplied with the phone next time.

So why isn’t every iPhone 16 Pro owner reporting this? My iPhone 16 Pro has charged properly since day one.

I also have this strange issue. Not charging with magsafe or any of the three chargers I tried (all apple brand chargers) on the iPhone 16. Tried with different outlets of course. Yesterday it just stopped being able to charge and finally it died.
Was no help.
