There are not many antivirus programs on iPhones for four reasons:

1. iPhones are already very secure
2. Apple doesn’t support side loading
3. Sometimes antivirus softwares are fake and actually implant malware onto your phone
4. As Bob Timmons said, they slow down your iPhone and cause connection issues.

If you want to prevent your iPhone from being infected with viruses, I suggest you follow regular internet safety protocols, don’t fall for scams, use a secure Wi-Fi network, and enable Private Browsing.

To answer your original question, no, no one will probably want to recommend antivirus programs.

If your iPhone has been infected by a virus, it’s too late. No computer in the world can delete a virus after it’s been installed. You can only stop it from spreading by disconnecting your phone from the internet and performing a factory reset.

If you are in a situation where an abuser may be after you, use Safety Check.

If you are in some kind of situation where you are in serious danger of hackers after you, turn on Lockdown mode on all your Apple devices.

Also, just letting you know, there is no such thing as an iPhone 8 Pro. I think you meant iPhone 8 Plus.
