Apple pen USB version Home Function on iPad Pro

How do I use my Apple pen USB version to go Home or swipe up on iPad Pro? Does the Apple pen work as a stylus? I am new to the Apple pen and iPad Pro. Any information is appreciated, thank you.

You cannot. It does not work like a general stylus for gestures or navigation like going home, you need to use your finger for that.

Ir works with in Apps to write, draw and select tools or tap on actions.
