Video importing from USB stick to iCloud on MacBook

Please tell me how to import videos from a usb stick to iCloud on a MacBook, photos are no problem and videos from my iPhone are ok as well

if you use iCloud Photos, drag the videos into the Photos app.

if the photos are too large, you need to sync using iCloud Drive instead.
