You cannot add local, internal device storage to an iPhone. Whatever it had when it rolled off the assembly line at the factory is what it will have for life.

You can’t (if you mean the storage on the actual device). You can either delete data to free up storage or you would have to buy a phone with more storage than the current one. If you mean you want to be able to backup your device with a service or method other than iCloud you can do so to a computer or Mac…you can look at other cloud services.
