M4 Mac Mini Screen Flicker

I've been experiencing a seemingly random screen flicker with my M4 Mac mini since I purchased it. I've tried different settings and swapping out HDMI cables. My monitor is the LG 34'' IPS WFHD UltraWide™ Monitor (2560x1080) with HDR10 (LG 34BK650-W). I have been using this monitor for both my gaming pc and my M4 Mac mini, but have only had the issues on the Mac.

I am operating the Monitor at 2560x1080 with the LG HDR WFHD color profile. I've tried switching between 75 Hertz and 60 Hertz refresh rates, which did not seem to impact.

Turning High Dynamic Range off has seemed to drastically cut down on the flicker, but there is kind of a *very faint* moving scan line effect when it is off.

The flicker is just a quick black screen, sometimes with a white line across it, then reverts back to normal quite quickly. The white line is horizontal and sometimes appears as a thin line or a thicker more static-like line.

My cables are not labeled and I got them a while ago, but I'm pretty sure they were well rated. Thinking I will just get a new one to rule that out first -- does that sound like the likely culprit?

These new Mac's are picky when it comes to HDMI cables.

They do not do well using long, cheap or poorly made HDMI cables.

If a short (3.3') high speed certified 8K HDMI cable doesn't fix the flickering problem.

Then test a short (3.3') high speed 8K USB-C to DisplayPort cable with that LG's Display.
