I have an alert for KeyRemap4Macbook that the kernel extension has not loaded and to restart, this does not solve the problem. I am using Sequoia 15.1.1

Did you authorize it in System Settings->Privacy & Security?
Make sure that it is up to date. Maybe the version you have needs to be updated to support Sequoia.
