Adding music from macOS to iPhone through cloud music library.

For a while, my Apple music library hasn't been up to date, and it takes hours or days to add a few songs to my Cloud music library. Usually, when I update my Cloud music library, it shows a progression bar; now, it doesn't show up at all. IDK if it's just me, or this means that Apple Music needs to be fixed in the next software update.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 15.1

Try holding down option as you launch Music the reselect your .musiclibrary database, typically in ~/Music/Music where ~ is your home folder. There seems to be an obscure bug where Music sometimes gets connected to a cached version of the database that then doesn't update correctly. Close Music and then reopen, this time holding option+cmd. This will open Music in its safe mode which may do some internal housekeeping. Finally try File > Library > Update Cloud Library to try to get the local library and the cloud to sync up.
