Why can we still not add our Apple Card account to Quicken?

This seems to be a question from the past and still unsolved. Quicken does not have to develop for a certain or specific card. It is up to the Card and or Bank to ALLOW Quicken to access it. I just talked to Quicken about it and verified that they would have no problems on their end.

I have had "Financial Institutions" that were working fine with Quicken, suddenly change online systems who would not provide access to Quicken anymore. It was not Quickens fault and the worker bees at the so called Institution knew nothing about it until they finally talked to management.

I suppose that we may try suggesting or canceling our cards?? I was doing fine without it.

No one here will know the exact answer. This is not Apple Support. We’re all Apple users just like you. Quicken has 4 methods it uses to connect. I suspect none of the four methods meet or exceeds Apples or Goldman requirements for security and privacy. My understanding is that Quicken charges for access to their connections.

As an alternative Apple offers its API for free, for developers to use to develop apps and access the data. Multiple developers are using it so their apps can access the data and meet Apple’s and Goldman’s requirements. So, I suspect it’s a standoff between Apple and Quicken and who’ll flinch first. Given Apple hasn’t done so in over 5 years and looking at past performance, those want Quicken will have a very, very long wait.

Is it not interesting that Apple always dodges by sending one to the Community first to ask questions, or at times will have someone call you back. You can be on the "relevant" Apple webpage, such as AppleCare+, but if you click on support, you will not get AppleCare+ support, no, you will always get IT support, who will always arrange a callback from the proper department. I believe that they have someone who can look at the calendar on your computer and find the most inconvenient time and date and tell you that is the only open time that they can call you back. :(

Well as I said, I really did not need the card, so I believe that I shall send it trundling off. Sorry to take your time, and I appreciate your input, however, if Quicken is good enough for Discover, TDECU, ect. I believe that if Apple and Goldman make any sort of claim that they do not meet their requirements, then they are simply blowing smoke.
