Music migration error: Original file not found on MacBook Pro

Migrated my music from my old PC to my new MacBook Pro and I try and play a track I'm getting an error message stating the original file cannot be found.

In iTunes Preferences, where are you pointing it to, i.e. the iTunes Music folder with all your music in? And when you launch iTunes, does it show all your music in the library (i.e. you can see all the tracks in the main window)?

If the answer to the second question is 'yes', then you have successfully created the library (which is the .itl fiile in iTunes folder), but you are not pointing it to the actual music folder (iTunes Music) which you need to do in iTunes Preferences.
