Screen Mirroring over Airplay no longer working on MacOS 15.2

Just updated to MacOS 15.2, and I can no longer mirror my Macs screen to my Airplay device. However my iPhone, also updated to the latest iOS can mirror it's screen perfectly fine, and I can also stream music and Youtube videos to my Airplay device from my Mac, but for some reason Screen Mirroring is specifically the only thing not working. I think it has to do with the recent update for Presenter mode

Same issue after upgrading to 15.2 on my MacBook Pro 13. I was able to get airplay to work after disabling Firewall network settings, airplay to monitor, re-enable firewall.

So it turns out it's because I have a network/content filter called Lulu installed. After I disabled it in network settings, the mirroring started to work again.

Sounds like a Lulu bug to me. Like I said, Lulu may need an update for Sequoia 15.2.

Same issue after updating my M1 mac promax to 15.2. Radio silence or Lulu causing the issue. When switching either of these on I get no mirroring. It feels like it hooks into apples inbuilt firewall. If I switch them all off mirroring works.

I have to switch all 3 off to make it work.

Then when I switch apple's in built firewall back on the mirroring still works.

At this point Lulu and Radio silence are still off.

Switching lulu or radio silence back on will immediately disconnect the mirror.

Also the same issue as others. That when it connects to my LG tv. It makes the tv the main display untill I sort it out.

Everything was fine till I updated to 15.2.

On MacBook Air M2, same problem. I turned off Little Snitch. I made sure in Firewall that AirPlayXPCHelper was turned on. Mirroring always worked until 15.2. It works on iPad. It works on iPhone. It only works on MacOS 15.2 when I turn Firewall completely off. Why doesn't it work when AirPlayXPCHelper is explicitly turned on when Firewall is on? I believe there is a reason to have Firewall On, so I've always had it on.

This led me to checking on Trip Mode. It wasn't actively blocking traffic but I went to Advanced Firewall Settings and it was Enabled under Filters & Proxies. I disabled it and Air Play was able to connect to my Apple TV. You might be able to disable Little Snitch in the same place instead of uninstalling it.
