Is There any issues to charge iPhone 15 with 30w Apple Charger?

I am Planning to Buy a iPhone 15 and currently I have MacBook Air M1 and apple 30w charger which comes with the MacBook. so, is there any need to purchase 20w charger for iPhone 15 or can I charge it with apple 30w charger which I got with MacBook..


I Heared few myths from Friends that charging with high power adapter may lead to faster battery health decrement is it true


or I can charge my new iPhone 15 with 30w apple adapter..

You can charge it with the 30 watt adapter. It will not harm you phone. The phone will not draw more power than it was designed to no matter how large the power adapter.

For iPhone 15 and earlier, you can fast charge up to 15W with a MagSafe Charger and one of these adapters:

  • Apple 20W or greater USB-C Power Adapter
  • A comparable third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Powe
