Suggestion for Photo Editing Software for my iMac

Sorry, but that's not enough information on which to base a recommendation. We need to know more about what sort of images you wish to edit, what edits you want to make (e.g. color correction, background removal, defect touch-up), what you intend to do with these images (go to print? go only to web?) and what if anything is important to you such as import and export formats, ability to use a tablet and pen, etc. Otherwise we're just flying blind.

WIthout knowing anything about your needs and preferences, it's pretty difficult to offer useful comments. There are lots of good photo editors out there. If you can post details of your use case and what is important to you, I'm sure someone can offer opinions.
