I can't get AirDrop to show up in my Finder's taskbar.

Just what it says. I can send stuff TO my Mac from my iPhone, but I cannot send things FROM my Mac to my iPhone.

I have gone to Finder -> Settings -> Sidebar and clicked on the checkbox next to AirDrop. It immediately un-checks itself as soon as I click on it. If I have a finder window open at the time, it will *VERY* briefly appear in the sidebar, but only for about a tenth of a second.

I have also gone to Apple-Icon -> System Settings -> General -> AirDrop & Handoff and I have made sure that AirDrop is set to Contacts Only (I also tried setting it to "Everyone") and it still fails.

What is going on? Why can I not air-drop TO my iPhone FROM my Mac?

It's an M2 Pro MacBook Pro running MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1, and my iPhone is an iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 18.1.1

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.1
