Can't move emails from one folder to another within the Mail app after iOS 18.2

I have an iPad 9th Generation. I updated to 18.2 last night. Now I have a problem with the Mail App. Specifically, I cannot move emails from one folder to another within the App. For example, I now cannot move an email from the Inbox to the Trash folder. The buttons to do that are now gone after 18.2. I just had a Chat with Apple and he wasn't able to help me.

I found a solution that works for me (with no help from Apple). Open the Mail App. Down the left side is the list of messages in the Inbox. Highlight the one that you want to move. Then SWIPE LEFT. You'll get a menu of options, including More. Within that option, I was able to move the emails around like before 18.2. The same works for moving an email from any folder (meaning, not just from the Inbox). To do that, go to the folder you want to move an email from, highlight the email, and SWIPE LEFT. This works for me and maybe it will work for others.

Since updating to iOS 18.2, on 12 December 2024, the Mail app has stopped working properly. Prior to the update all my emails were up-to-date, including ones that I had received just before doing the update. Since updating, I don’t have anything after Tuesday morning and nothing I do is restoring them. I rely on my Mail app to access all of my email accounts, and it’s causing a lot of issues. If Apple is going to send out updates every five minutes, then how about something useful and functional - rather than an Outlook-adjacent interface that doesn’t actually work? For example, how about being able to actively switch off Wi-Fi from the lock screen launchpad, and not have to go into system preferences to do that?
