Are new features in tvOS 18.2 dependent on Apple TV display compatibility?

Just updated my two 4K devices (A16 and A18) to TVOS 18.2. Neither seem to have any of the new features (Snoopy screensaver, aspect ratios, etc). After considering it for a while, I realized that in both cases, the displays theApple TV devices are connected to are 10 years old or more. I am wondering if the new features are dependent on the capability of the display. There doesn't seem to be anything published about it, and I am seeing other posts from people who have done the update and do not see these features so it makes me think there is an external dynamic like the TV display not supporting the feature.

Did you mean A1625 and A1842? I.e. the 2015 and 2017 models?

The screen saver feature requires Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later) [A2169, A2737, A2843] (2021 or later).

The enhanced aspect ratio feature requires Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) [A2737, A2843] (2022 or later).

Do you have a 21:9 TV that is 10 years+ old? Please specify the model.

If your TV is 16:9, then it may not show that option anyway.

Thank you for replies. Makes sense. The youtube I watched this morning said A16 and A18 so I made an assumption he was talking about the models i have. Obviously I'm outdated. I appreciate the help
