Check the status of my Apple Credit Card

I called Goldman Sach's to check the application. I selected the # to ask about Credit Card. What I got was an automated line telling me to check online (but I don't have a Goldman Sach's account) and then it said "Goodbye."

I still don't know how/where to check the status of my application.

I did not receive an email when I applied. Does anyone know? Why is this so difficult?

Also, Goldman Sach's customer service is less than exemplary. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Apple's Customer Support. But I can't say the same about GS.
