How to Switch Apple Music Subscription to Verizon Perk?

I currently have an Apple Music subscription through Apple, but want to use my Verizon perk instead to save some money. My question is do I add the Verizon Apple Music subscription first and then cancel my Apple Music subscription from Apple? or the other way around? Last question, will I lose all of my playlists by doing this?

Switching Apple subscription from EE (included in deal) - will I keep my music library? Hi, I currently get Apple music included with my mobile sim package (with EE). I'm thinking of changing plans and just paying for Apple Music separately. Will I be able to keep my music library - I'll still be using the same Apple id. Thanks
