How to make Calendar alerts loud on my iPhone 14?

I can’t tell you how many calendar alerts for appointments that I’ve missed because iPhone can’t seem to make a calendar alert that is loud enough to hear. So annoying!

I have iph14, $1k phone, is this acceptable? The phone shows ALL these alerts that supposedly you can select. But it can't be changed. I’m 70 and not fond of starting over with new technology, but I will change. I'm not upgrading my phone if you can't fix this simple on going issue.

Choose a different alert sound in Settings>Sound & Haptics>Calendar Alerts. There may be sounds that you find easier to hear over ambient noise.

Set two alarms.

Look into an app like Calarm ( by squishlogic). If you sync it to your calendar, it will sound an alarm in advance of appointments.

Your instructions DO NOT WORK. Test it yourself. Many people have commented the same exact thing several times online. For years! This is ridiculous apple can't fix this after all these years of complaints. basically, it’s a worthless feature on iPhone. Sadly.

I am a fellow user. I gave you the best suggestions I know of. I'm sorry they don't help. I will be sure to avoid bothering you with any suggestions in the future.
