Safari sidebar is not showing history?

No one here can answer questions as to why Apple does or doesn't implement something.

Nothing other than choosing "Show All History" from the History menu or pressing command+Y.

The question was clear from the outset
The user has changed the question by adding a new request
History is still available, just not in the Sidebar.
At least, not until one makes a Request of Apple to add it
To expedite this request to Add to Sidebar specifically to Safari
Though, as Safari is built into and part of Sequoia
Not sure that link would necessarily gain too much traction
My question was perhaps not so clear. I was wondering if perhaps there is an extension to do it (i.e to show the history in a sidebar). Or perhaps I missed a setting that does the trick in Safari.
