Missing mails in Mail app on my iPhone 12 Pro after iOS 18.2 update

When I updated to iOS 18.2 suddenly emails are missing in my inbox on my iPhone Mail app but they show up fine on my iPad and of course they are there when I open my email account on the computer. This is a huge inconvenience being that I need to use the QR codes in those emails with my iPhone at various businesses.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro.

My messages reappeared when I turned off the “intelligent filters” function. Here is how I did it:

  1. Open eMail.
  2. Tap the ••• button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select “List View”

I really wish Apple would quit adding features to make my life better or at least make them optional. I suggest they make an app or something where you can download the features you want if they want to come up with new things instead of forcing it upon everyone. it seems like every time they do this I always end up losing productivity because suddenly something doesn’t work on my phone then it takes me hours to days to weeks to figure out what happened and how to either get around it or fix it. I wish Apple would listen to the consumers because many of us complain about how we are tired of all these constant nonstop changes to our iPhones and how it interferes with our daily business and our lives.
