Slow Delete/Backspace Key on Mac

I have a MacBook Air 15, M3 ,2024, sequoia 15.2 brand new, but I have a problem with my backspace and seems I can't figure it out. When I want to delete something with the backspace it goes extremely slow, like letter by letter. I have already changed the settings of the keyboard ( I have put the key repeat rate to the fastest and the delay until repeat to the shortest) but still no result. Tried also other combinations, but the problem is still there. Is there any suggestion? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

One thing you might try is booting into safemode which removes old system caches, runs some diagnostics, and attempts to fix problems it finds. Another tip, is if you are using any 3rd party anti-virus, fixit, or optimizing software, those are all known to cause problems with the normal operation of macOS.
