iPhone 12 camera problems

iPhone 12 camera quit. Any fixes from Apple other than $400 service call?

I can buy Galaxy for half that.

I have checked the estimate from Apple and a rear camera repair comes out to US $169 or $99 with AppleCare+, not $400.
