My iPhone shows wrong city when I ask for location near me

When I use Google and request for a business near me, the phone pulls up incorrect city…it pull ups a city 80 miles from my location

I have iPhone 13

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18

Location issue despite doing all tricks My phone shows I’m in Durban (Africa) but I live in New Orleans. This happens when I try to use websites. Is this phone or website issues?

iPhone showing I’m in a different country Hello, I've discovered a strange issue with my iPhone. All location-based apps, such as Find My, Maps, and Weather, are displaying my location as being in a different country. I've attempted to resolve the problem by checking the software is updated, restarting my iPhone, checking the location settings (which are enabled) and restarting them, ensuring that my date and time are set automatically, and verifying that cellular data or Wi-Fi is active (I also tried restarting them). I’m lost about what to do :(

It sounds like Google is using your WiFi providers location and not Apple Location Services.

When I log into my Google account, it displays my location correctly. If I log out, it displays a location about 100 miles away.

Use Safari Browser with Google Search engine.
