5 devices!? Not true

I'm trying to authorize my MacBookPro for Paramount TV.

It says that I've already authorized 5 devices and must deauthorize one.

I'm trying to deauthorize my iPhone but it's not working!?

SOOOO Annoying

Hello 👋,

Is this through Apple TV or the Paramount TV app?

Maybe you could un-authorize all devices from iCloud on the web, or via the Settings app where your iCloud profile data exists with settings to change them, then try again. You will again need to reauthorize on the devices you want authorization on when you use them next.

If that does not work, as one of the other replies said, "contact the distributor", to see if they use Apple's authorization records or maintain their own and if there are any problems that may be caused by this.

If you are going through Apple TV, you could raise a support request with them first and find out the same information.

From my past experiences it is usually the third party's own record keeping. They will need to resolve it. Or your money back ahahaha. Also ask them, "Why do you have such records with that value, is someone using your account? Please check!"

I hope these responses help you learn and you get the problem resolved. 🙂
