Upgrade to IPhone 16 Pro Max after years/ need advice

Hi!

i recently upgraded from an older iPhone to an iPhone 16 Pro Max and it’s a big difference for me. I got a screen protector and an otter box, should i also get a camera lens protector?

Earlier, i cleaned my iPhone back camera with a shirt that is 58% cotton out of reflex but I’m not sure if it damaged/ scratched the lens i cleaned.

does anyone have any tips to share on how i could protect my phone better and if i should get a camera lens protector?

all advice appreciated! Thank you.

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18

The camera covers on your iPhone are Sapphire Glass, which is very very difficult to scratch. Personally, I do not recommend lens covers on the cameras. They introduce another layer over the glass, which can negatively impact the photos you take. You've done a great job by putting a screen protector on the front and OtterBox cases are high quality cases, which should provide excellent protection for your phone.
