iPad backside painting coating problem iPad Pro 2021 3 gen

When I use a lot my iPad without case or any cover I see white finger steps. Actually it’s looks weird.

Your iPad's aluminium casing isn't painted - but is instead anodised. This treatment chemically oxides the surface, producing a hard-wearing coloured surface that, short of physical abrasion, cannot be removed. This anodised finish is highly resistant to damage.


Anything that you see on the anodised surface is likely to have been transferred to the surface from some other source. When using a poorly manufactured case, colour transfer to the anodised surface from the case material can occur; if you are not using a case, naturally occurring oils from your skin can be deposited on the surface.
