Disconnecting SOS only on iPhone

You do not “disconnect” the SOS only mode. That indicator means that you do not have cellular service but.might still be allowed to make emergency calls (for police, fire department, ambulance) through other carriers’ networks.

If you do not have cellular service, it may be because (a) you don’t have a cellular plan, (b) there is an issue with your account, or (c) your carrier’s network does not provide a good signal where you are trying to use the phone.
