Son’s New Phone Locked Me (Mom) Out of Family Settings

My son and I recently upgraded our iPhones. He got an iPhone 16 and I got the 16 Pro. The new ones came two days ago, and my son set his up right away. He used his own Apple ID, and said he didn’t use my ID anywhere on his phone, but as soon as he set the new phone up, I became unable to access my Family Settings. I have no way to change downtime or screen settings or anything else for my children. Those options are greyed out on my phone (first screenshot). My son’s phone now says that he is “Mom,” but it also says he is age 15 (second screenshot). Please help! It took me forever to figure out how to set this stuff up in the first place, and now I have no idea how to fix this. I haven’t even set up my new phone yet, because I’m afraid it’s going to mess something up even worse.
