You are dealing with a 10 year old car, with out of date software. Often with older cars, there can two primary reasons a phone won't connect.

They were clear they were having a Bluetooth pairing issue. You clearly either didn't read or perhaps understand the issue."

Your ten year old vehicle likely needs an update. Check with your local Chevrolet dealer.
So tell us what happens when you try. Do you get an error message? What?

Did you read your owners manual on how to pair a new phone with your car? If not, Call Chevrolet and get help from them.

So you changed the word from CarPlay to Bluetooth, yet still included the Apple Support Article about getting help with CarPlay. This is not the solution this user needs. Sorry, but you clearly don't understand the issue, so I don't understand why you'd post something completely unrelated?

'14 And iPhone:
I guess it would depend on the method connectivity. How does CarPlay not play any role here? Wasn't aware of the '14 CarPlay on the model.

CarPlay doesn't play a role here because the Silverado is a 2014 and Chevrolet didn't bring CarPlay to the Silverado until 2016. And again, the Author asked about connecting their new SE to the car via Bluetooth, so they also weren't asking about CarPlay.
It just doesn’t find my device nor does it show up on my device to connect to.
