Browser that supports end-to-end encryption on Messenger and Facebook

I sometimes get this message when opening Facebook:

Use a browser that supports end-to-end encryption on Messenger and Facebook

I'm not quite sure what to do. Does this mean that Safari is less secure than Chrome and Edge? I find that hard to believe.

What do you recommend?

Microsoft Edge/Google Chrome work just fine with these problem websites. Generally, Safari on my old iPad Pro works fine with the same problematic websites -- but I have not tested that many. tractorhouse.com, Facebook.com, usaa.com, and lots of others. So many that I've changed the default to Edge, but I miss the password integration and autofill of texted authentication codes.
