Fraudulent transactions denied refund on Apple Account

i called apple for 8 apple unauthorized transactions. The first agent i spoke with confirmed the transactions were fraudulent so she initiated a refund request and the funds should be refunded in 2 to 3 business days. I called again to check the status, the 2nd agent was of no use, i have to retell my story and ended up being scheduled for escalation to a “senior” colleague. Spoke with the 3rd agent, she said that the refund request was denied! How it was possible for a confirmed fraudulent transactions to be denied of refund? This act in itself is a scam! It is hard to believe for such a big corporation to act this way.. no OTP or SMS for unauthorized transactions worth 50k pesos!

If it was truly fraud then I am surprised you got any refund at all. If it is card fraud then Apple is a victim too. You need to contact your card issuer about the fraud. If it was unauthorized use of your account you can ask for a refund but ultimately its use is your responsibility. Apple's position is that all purchases are final. If somebody is using your account without your permission then you need to address that, as well as contacting the police to arrest the person stealing money from you.

Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions - Legal - Apple Media Services - Apple

- "All Transactions are final."

I understand this as meaning Apple is starting from a point where any refund is considered an exception. Apple may provide a refund but can also simply say no without having to provide a reason. I understand this can be frustrating but by using the service you agree to the terms.
