my macbook air m2 have a buzzing sound.

My device has a buzzing sound coming out of the speaker. I took it to a technician to check it out. The technician said that it cannot be fixed because it is the design of the device that the speaker is close to the screen, causing a vibrating sound. I can't do anything and just have to put up with this problematic sound?

Get this Serviced:

It is a hardware issue and it seems that this technician could not fix this (or was reluctant to do so). So, give Apple Support a call, or take this to an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider).

Take to an Apple Store:

You'd setup a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store, taking it in for service. There, it will be diagnosed, and you'll be provided with your options.

Or...

B. Take this to an AASP:

See an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) in your local area...

Contacting an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone

The speakers do not make any buzzing noises unless perhaps the volume is extremely loud. Other possibilities are bad speakers, or a grounding issue with the power adapter. Or maybe some debris got onto the speaker cones which can cause a static like sound. There may be some other possibilities as well.

Have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a diagnosis & repair estimate.

Edit: A grounding issue could also be due to a connected device, so disconnect all external devices & disconnect the power adapter. If the static from the speakers only occurs with devices connected, then one of them is the source of the problem.

If you mute the audio or connect headphone/speakers, do you still hear the static sound? Do you hear it through the headphones/external speakers? Or do you hear it from the laptop....if the latter, then it may not be the speaker. It could be the fan bearing (can sound like static), or possibly even from the SSD chips which is usually more of a faint high pitch sound.
