MacBook Pro bottom case pan slightly opening on one corner.

Hi, I have this issue that my MacBook's bottom pan is slightly opening on one corner. Idk if it's some battery issue but I would bet on not because when i press the pan back into place i can see that the screw there isn't screwed fully. Thoughts on this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.7

Take it to an Apple Store or authorized Apple service center and have it evaluated. It's not impossible that the battery is indeed swelling, and if it is that becomes a risk of catastrophic failure.

Does the bottom plate stay down without the screw tightened, or does it pop back up as soo as you release pressure? If the latter, that more strongly that suggests a battery problem.

Battery swelling can increase significantly daily, so any delay in having the device evaluated could make the difference between the computer being repairable or being scrapped.
