Why did my iPhone 15 stop recording video suddenly?

Both mine and my wife's iPhone stopped recording during the middle of our band's music performance

It was absolutely disheartening to learn or know that one of the background media which was playing could take up the audio space while I record a video in real. Is this a know issue? Is there a way the audio can rectified? - reason being it is a most memorable video of little ones singing together. Truly speaking, any valuable help or suggestion to fix the video is much much greatly appreciated. Please provide your comments or experience about this issue.

4k video randomly stops recording I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max 256gb recently updated with plenary of available storage. I regularly use it to record stand up sets. Recently my phone has stopped recording in the middle of my sets. This has happened twice now. I’ve restarted my phone, made sure that the battery was fully charged, turned off the Wi-Fi, force closed any active apps, confirmed that there were no available updates and still it’s happened again. My phone was on a tripod under and AC vent in a well ventilated area. What am I doing wrong? Why is this happening :(

Iphone 15 stops recording video and there's plenty of available storage My 15 pro max stops recording video (I make youtube content) and I have no idea that it's stopped recording until I get up to check the footage. I have a lot of available storage and the phone is in airplane mode when I record. My ios is up to date with 17.3.1. I have tried making the same video twice so far and this is incredibly frustrating. Any suggestions besides restarting my phone (obvious) would be appreciated. Thanks

Battery capacity is always an issue with any battery powered device. Were the batteries charged to 100%? How long was the recording? What format and resolution were you recording in? It all affects your battery capacity.

How much free storage do you have available?

Is you iPhone a 15, 15 plus, 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max?

It could be a battery capacity issue, heat related issues, and it could be storage related issue.

Were you both using a third-party camera app for recording?

No, we were using the Apple camera app.

There are no storage or battery capacity issues with these relatively new iPhones. They were not hot or even warm.
