C-Date Scam and Payment Issues on iPhone

Downloaded C-Date and signed up for trial. The cancel facility was not in use and they continued taking money. The only way to stop this was to discontinue payment. Yes I did send letter and signed but only ever wanted the trail so scared out of money. Since I have been harassed by Advokat Radoslav Koychev threatening me for money. I have ignored this but enough is enough and blocked this person from mail. The thing is I don’t know what worse, the scammer or the company letting people download this scam application. Your apple at the top of success and you’ve never seen anything people are writing on-line. Absolutely disgusted you still have this site on download, a dating site with AI reply and no cancellation facility. Please please remove this and stop others from falling into this painful trap. Kind regards Adam R

It appears you have signed up for the subscription on the developers website. This bypasses Apple's ability to manage the subscription and is the reason why you are having to deal with the developer directly. In the future only use the in-app purchases provided by an app for any subscription. This is the only way Apple can manage the subscription and makes cancelling very easy.

Not sure which region you are in, but the app is not available in the US market. You can still report the app as a scam on the Report a Problem site here:  reportaproblem.apple.com. You can also write a review for the app in the App Store if it is still available in your region. This will let others users who are looking to download the app know about your experience. With poor reviews or enough complaints on the provided link, the app will be removed.

Since this is a web based service, you can also contact your local consumer protection agencies and report the website. It does not require you to use the app for this developer to continue and scam people. Users login onto the website and subscribe there as well. The app is simply a companion tool and removing the App will not remove the website or prevent others from being scammed.

Apple will not see your post here, as this site is made up of users just like you, so there is nothing we can do other than offers steps for you to take. Apple also has no control over the websites you can navigate to on the internet.
