my Printer HP laser 107a. fail to print in the Mac 2020 M1 chip due to lack of driver to support it Mac version sonoma

The HP Laser 107a is a USB printer with support for Windows and Linux. Since this model appears to use an SPL print language, any luck if you try a Samsung Xpress SL-M2020 version V3.93.08 universal printer driver (for macOS Ventura 13)?

This would of course be experimental, so make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything.
