Hearing aids will not pair with ip16 running IOS18

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the Community deserves some response.

Updating iPhone to iOS18.2 may be helpful. (Wise to back up iPhone data first, if you want to update iOS)

ie: You can check for updates in Settings > General > Software updates.

Starkey Genesis AI* is the only Starkey Genesis hearing -aid listed in Apple's MFi compatibility list.

(ie: Alongside: Evolv AI*, Halo, Halo 2, Halo iQ, Livio AI*, Livio*, Livio Edge AI*)

Seems that the Starkey app may need updating to keep up with the changing technology:

✽ ie: could be that just a firmware update is needed, (maybe through the existing app)

✽ or may require an app update.

You may need to consult the hearing-aid manual, your hearing professional, or Starkey's support website.

(Most hearing-aid manufacturer's also have trouble-shooting info. available on their website.)

As you can pair only one set of hearing aids at a time, you may need to "forget" the older pair, in order to pair the new set.
